This photo quote book is a real gem! We start each day with the kids journaling about what the image and quotation combination mean them, and reading aloud what they wrote. Then they do some exploration of the author of the day’s quote and the location featured in the photo. Its a fun hour of geography, history, literature and creative writing all rolled into one!

We love this ebook! Its an excellent tool to that is both challenging and fun for all of my four kids who range from 6th – 12th grade. The photos and quotes are a fantastic springboard to delve into the humanities in a way that provides structure but also lets my kids be self-directed and follow where the material leads them, based on who they each are. I see how each of them respond differently to the material and develop their own point of view, which is what I want from educational resources.

    • Meg (store manager)

I’m so pleased to hear that your family is enjoying this labor of love Tanya! The way you’ve described your kids’ experiences is how I think of culture generally–its universal & personal! I hope you’ll pay it forward and recommend it to other homeschoolers! Thanks for the review!
