  1. Being from a place that isn’t Egalitarian, I’d say the concept of Jante isn’t the worst. Yes it is not infallible. The pressures that Jante laws suppress have caused the likes of depression in states that don’t adhere to such. It can be saddening to see lengths people will go just to be above others. We see it everyday and it’s like a stab on the eye.
