Tulips do not grow on Madeira , not for business anyway- it is too hot and they won’t las or bloom properly

The yellow Genista blooms in Spring -April and May are the best month
Thanks so much Isabel! How interesting! I did not know this plant by this name, only as “Broom”. It is abundant in Scotland in the spring and quite magnificent to behold! I would not have thought of them growing in such different areas but I know Madeira has many micro climates!
